Official 1st Day

Kate's official first day of school was today. She has been a couple of times, but always with me there. Today she went all by herself and loved it. So, here is her 1st official full day and one of josi anna just for fun!!!!!!

By the way, Kate's request was her new tennis shoes which she just learned to tie and a skirt. So, her wish was granted!!!!

Today was the first day of school. They seemed to have a good day. Kate stayed an hour and a half today. Then 4, then all day. Look how little she looks walking in with her backpack!

Last Day of Summer Fun

Today we went to Burgess Falls State Park. We had lots of fun!!! Tomorrow is registration for school. BOO!! Enjoy.

Summertime Fun

I love the summer. It is a special time with the girls. We have so much fun swimming and being outdoors. I wish I could freeze time and keep them this age. They are all fun in their own ways. Hannah is a special part of our summer now, too.

I thougth I was Ready

I thought I was ready. I thought I was excited for Kate to go to school. But, something about this tent made me change my mind. A friend told me the other day, " the days are long , but years are short." Boy, is it true. I wish I could have more children, but it would never be easy to send one to kindergarten. Too little. Too innocent. And she starts in a week.

Little Things In Life

Kate found a caterpillar and she put it in a plastic jar. Well, to my suprise it formed a cocoon and hatched into a beautiful butterfly. I don't know why I was suprised, but I was. Kate was so excited. AHH, the beauty of nature!!!!! So, here she is with her coccon and butterfly!!

Girl's Day Out

Today we went to see the American Girl "Kit" movie and then to get toenails painted. The big girls went too, but too cool for pictures. The movie was very very good!!!!!

I love their little faces when they wake up in the morning. ( The baby's , not the cat!!!)
